Structured Group Walks 🦮
On-leash training-enriched walks that focus on calm coexistence with other dogs. Perfect for dogs who may be overwhelmed by off-leash play, or those still fine-tuning their social skills. Groups are kept small, typically 4 dogs per walk.

Adventure Hikes 🌲
Off-leash group hikes that focus on quality exercise and healthy socialization. Instead of traditional dog parks, we hike quiet trails along the river where the dogs can run, sniff, swim and play! Dogs must already have solid recall/off-leash obedience for this service.

This training package is ideal for those who are struggling with walking their dog. Whether you are dealing with pulling on the leash or barking at other dogs, this course will have your dog walking like a pro by the end of the three weeks!

This training package is ideal for those who have already done some training with their dog, but are looking to take it to the next level with off-leash obedience. We will teach you how to build excellent engagement with your dog, as well as master communication via a remote training collar so that your dog is fully reliable off-leash.
Note that a ET-300 Mini Educator Remote E-collar is required to take this course.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday to Friday for group and private walks, and training sessions as scheduled. We are typically available as needed for one-off weekend walks as well.
All weekend/holiday services are invoiced with an additional $5+HST surcharge.
Do you walk dogs in the rain, snow or extreme heat?
We typically only cancel walks if it is unsafe driving conditions for picking the dogs up. In extreme weather we will shorten walks, take additional breaks, and offer extra water as needed but we only cancel walks entirely when absolutely necessary.
How many dogs do you walk at once for group walks?
Our off-leash adventure hikes are capped at 8 dogs per walk, but are typically 6 or fewer, and our structured group walks are capped at 6 dogs per walk, but are typically 4 or fewer.
What should I pack for my dog’s boarding stay?
The only necessary items to pack for boarding are food and any medications.
Our walkers have everything else they need, but you are more than welcome to include your own treats, chews, toys, beds, etc. that make your dog most comfortable.
What is your cancellation policy?
Will my dog get wet or dirty on their walk?
As we walk and hike on trails, the dogs do get wet and muddy depending on weather. If you leave us a towel/wipes/etc., we will absolutely wipe them down at drop off.
Are there vaccine requirements for group activities?
Yes, dogs must be up to date on Rabies, Bordatella, and DHPP vaccines and proof of vaccination is required before starting group walks. We also strongly encourage having all dogs on tick prevention medication.
What happens if there is a medical emergency?
If a medical emergency were to occur while a dog is in our care, immediate first aid would be administered. If during a walk, we would immediately return to the car, and the owner would be contacted. If the issue warranted immediate veterinary attention, we would call the dog’s vet directly if we could not reach the owner, or bring them straight to the emergency clinic if necessary. We keep a file of every dog’s veterinary information and any medical conditions easily accessible on our phones at all times.
What training methods do you use?
We take a balanced approach to dog training. Hannah has studied under a wide variety of trainers with varying methods and uses ideas from all of them in her own practices. She takes pride in tailoring curriculums to individual dogs and their specific needs. All walkers are trained on all kinds of gear/training tools and we walk dogs on everything from harnesses, haltis, prongs, martingales, e-collars, etc, doing our best to maintain whatever training style owner’s keep up at home, on group walks.
How long does it take to see results from training services?
Our training services are actually focused on teaching owners how to train their own dogs (aside from walk and trains) so that’s very dependent on you! If you are committed to doing your ‘homework’ between sessions you will see very consistent progress. We don’t make any timeline guarantees with training because every dog is an individual and will progress at their own pace.
